Jimmy Cricket is the main star of the Preston Panto 2014

Preston’s panto line-up has been announced, with comedy legend Jimmy Cricket leading the cast.

Snow White and the Magnificent Seven comes to the Charter Theatre from Tuesday 2 December.

Duggie Chapman MBE is in the directors chair for the panto.

Jimmy Cricket takes the role of Muddles, supported by the Magnificent Seven of Goody, Loopy, Noisy, Lazy, Sneezy, Growler and Shabby.

Former Coronation Street actor Jim Whelan also stars as the Henchman.

Panto veteran Pete Lindup is taking part in his 25th panto as Sarah The Cook while Yvonne Patterson is Queen Cruella.

Adam Trembath is the dashing prince, making his Preston debut, while Blackpool lass Kristina Castellina is Snow White.

Tickets start from £10 and the panto runs until Saturday 3 January 2015.
