CCTV pictures of a man police want to speak to following a sexual assault in Preston city centre have been re-released.
Police say the man pictured may have seen what happened as he was nearby at the time.
The incident took place between 3am and 4am on Sunday 9 December 2012.
The 20 year old victim was walking home after a night out.
She was allegedly sexually assaulted on the Ringway.
DS Mark Burns of Preston Police said: “Our investigation into this incident is still on-going and we have re-issued this CCTV image in the hope that someone recognises the man pictured.
“As we made clear when we originally released this image in March last year, the man pictured may be completely unconnected to this incident but we are still keen to trace him so we can eliminate him from our enquiries.
“I would appeal to anybody who may have any information that could assist with our investigation to come forward.”
