Jonjo Highton was found with stab wounds on the street in Deepdale

Seven people have now been charged in the investigation into the murder of Jonjo Highton in Deepdale.

The 18-year-old was found stabbed on St Stephen’s Road on Saturday 23 August.

Two more men were charged with murder on Monday night by Lancashire Police.

Stephen Walton, 23, of no fixed address and Zaahid Patel, 19, of Park Avenue, Preston, were both charged with murder.

Five other Preston men have been charged with murder, they are:
Minhaj Musa, 20 of Deepdale Road, Preston
Sabaar Dal, 19 of Alice Square, Preston
Owen Whitesmith, 19, of Glebe Close, Preston
Arron Graham, 22 of Ripon Street, Preston
Craig Walton, 26, of Watling Street Road, Preston

A 27-year-old man of no fixed address has been bailed pending further enquiries in relation to murder and reported for summons in connection with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
