Three people are wanted following a theft and assault at a Preston supermarket.
AdvertisementThe incident took place at the Co-op store on Garstang Road, Fulwood on Monday 18 August.
Around 7pm two men and a woman are believed to have placed a bottle of alcohol in a carrier bag and tried to leave without paying.
A member of staff stopped one of the men carrying the bag, and a struggle ensued.
The man is said to have assaulted the member of staff resulting in minor injuries, cuts and scratches.
The man is described as a white male, 30-35 years old, of a medium build with short light brown hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a royal blue t-shirt, brown jacket, khaki trousers and black trainers.
The second man is described as a white male, of a medium build with short light brown hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt and a dark blue tracksuit with three white stripes along the sides of the arms and legs.
The woman is described as a white female, tall and of a slim build with shoulder length dark brown hair. She was wearing blue skinny jeans and a red tracksuit top emblazoned with white writing.
PC Denise Flitney of Preston Police said: “We are keen to speak to the three people pictured in the CCTV images in connection with our inquiries. I would urge anyone who may know who the individuals are to get in touch and anyone with information should contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting DL1404572.”
