Residents have raised money for improvements to their park and local area in Riversway.

Euston Street Park is to undergo changes to make it more attractive for children to use and residents to enjoy.

A community day was held on the park on Saturday with local residents coming out to enjoy the climbing wall and see plans for the park.

Janet Camm from the park Friends group said: “We had lots of people come and visit. The weather was good and the climbing tower from West View Leisure Centre was a big attrction.

“Thank you to all the stall holders and to all who came to see the consultation plans for the improvements to the park.”
