The North West’s largest pumpkin will be sat around for photo opportunities.

Two beer halls at the event are to host more than 200 ales and ciders, including an 11% Imperial Stout.

Food comes from The Ferret who bring their smokehouse style to the Conti, including a spicy pumpkin soup.

A full music line-up has been announced with acts including Saytr Play, Los Pecadores, Djangobop and The Spiral Room on the bill.

The Conti beer festival starts on Thursday 2 October from 5pm and continues through to Saturday 4 October.
