A city centre arts and cafe bar is launching a new weekly comedy night.

Comedy Friday comes in the wake of the Frog and Bucket announcing it is to close the Lord Street comedy club.

Korova Arts and Cafe Bar on St Wilfrid Street is the venue for Comedy Friday.

It promises to see top stand-up comedians from around the North West comedy circuit.

The first one takes place on Friday 3 October from 8pm.
