Plans for creating an underpass on the Broughton bypass have been tabled.
AdvertisementLancashire County Council need to create the underpass for a farmer so cattle can be moved between fields either side of the proposed route.
The route would cut through land on Helm Farm in the northern section of the bypass.
The 200m pass would be to the east of a proposed roundabout on the bypass where it joins the A6 at Garstang Road.
The county council’s development control committee meets on Wednesday 3 September to consider the proposal.
Planning officers have recommended it for approval.
The full plan can be viewed on the county council website.
