Basshunter behind the decks at Evoque

Swedish DJ and former reality TV star Basshunter has made an appearance at a Preston nightclub.

Famous for hits like Now You’re Gone and All I Ever Wanted, Jonas Erik Altberg, stopped by Evoque to play a full set for students arriving in the city.

He was in the city for a gig at Baluga Bar but Evoque bosses said the Swede decided to pop in for a few drinks and ended up agreeing to perform for the 2,000 strong crowd.

Evoque business development manager Luke Maher said: “Basshunter has been in Preston for the last few days. After his gig at Baluga Bar he popped over to Evoque for a few drinks, stayed until closing, turned up to our student Expo yesterday afternoon and then played a full set last night for free because he loves the club and the city.”
