Arrests made after armed robbery at recycling centre in Deepdale

Police have arrested two men and a teenage boy on suspicion of robbery.


Armed police raided an address on Ronaldsway, Deepdale, and arrested the two Preston men aged 26 and 18, as well as a 15-year-old boy.

It followed reports of men armed with a macheting stealing CCTV from the National Recycling Centre on Great George Street in Deepdale. The incident took place around 5.15pm on Monday.

They made off in a car which was located by police at the address on Ronaldsway.

The three remain in police custody.
