A charity shop in Preston city centre has been crowned the best shop window in Preston.
AdvertisementAge UK won 21 per cent of votes cast in the competition on who had the best display of their products.
More than 1,200 votes were cast by the public as nearly 50 businesses competed.
The team at the Cheapside store now receive £500 to spend on a celebration in the city centre.
Second place store was The Dancers Wardrobe on Lune Street and Keo’s Jewellery in the St George’s Shopping Centre.
Preston’s Business Improvement District organised the competition.
Kevin Barrett, BID Operations Officer and secretariat to the City Retail Forum, who led the competition said,: “We are really pleased with the amount of entries and thank the businesses for getting involved, as well as members of the public for taking time to vote.”
