During October to December there will be Future Preston Tours held showing screenings of sci-fi films from around the world.

Organisers are promising a range of different events, workshops, audio-visual experiences and more during the Sci-Fi: Days of Fear and Wonder season.

Many of the venues used will not be places you’d expect to watch a film in.

The Preston events are part of 1,000 sci-fi events taking place throughout the UK, including showings of classic films at the British Museum.

It follows the news that the Guild Hall is to host Preston’s first Comic Convention.
