A man was left with minor injuries following the smash.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service attended the bus station around 5.40pm on Thursday to cut the bus out of the building.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “Two engines attended, one from Preston and one from Penwortham.
“We had our search and rescue team on standby but when the teams arrived they found the man had already been treated for his injuries.
“We used cutting equipment and wedges to free the bus and worked with structural engineers to make sure the building was safe.”
