A Preston nightclub will see actress and model Michelle Keegan launch its opening night.
AdvertisementMokai is planning to pull out all the stops when it opens on Monday 15 September.
The nightclub, which is on Church Street in the former Rumes club, is promising a wide mix of entertainment.
Managing director Chermaine Hewitt, from Fulwood, says the team are working hard to finish the club in time for the big opening night.
She said: “We will be bringing specialised student nights in as well as northern soul nights, bounce nights and much more.
“We really want to also try and bring in entertainment for the over 30s.
“We have two rooms, totally different themes and musics. Music will change depending on nights, room and audience.”
Hewitt and her business partners are spending tens of thousands of pounds refurbishing the venue.
The 24 year old said they were expecting a big turnout for their opening night, which would also launch their new student night Beans.
Former Corrie actress Keegan will be the star guest during the student night, which has been running in Chester and across the North West for 15 years.
