A new flyover video detailing plans to create a new community hub in Preston was recently released by Grant Erskine Architects.
Earlier in August we reported that Hollins Strategic Land submitted plans for a community hub including commercial units for community use, a new 4,000 square metre supermarket, petrol station, family pub, cafe in February this year.
Now we have a chance to see more of the project after they have unveiled a 3D flyover of the site showing what the project could look like.
The Eastway Hub is to have bus stops on Eastway with new integrated footways and cycleways connections and crossings.
The developers say they want to “create a sustainable, attractive and high quality mixed-use scheme for Fulwood that provides local facilities to serve the local population, is integrated into the wider community and contributes to creating a sense of place and identity.”
The scheme, currently subject to a delay while road layouts are considered, is expected to create up to 200 jobs.
Hollins Strategic Land was also behind 232 homes in the area in the past three years.
