St Walburge’s Summer Fayre returns on Saturday 9 August.

Tombola, stalls, a raffle and refreshments will be on offer.

The summer fayres are a great opportunity for you to go along and visit the stunning grade 1 listed Church, have fun, and support the building.

As ever – if you have a real head for heights – there is the rare opportunity to Climb the Spire, which is the tallest on a Parish Church and the 3rd tallest spire in England.

Back in April we reported that the future of the church had been preserved as an agreement was reached to establish a foundation of the Institute at St Walburge early this autumn.

Free entry to the church – a small charge for climbing the spire

Time: 1pm to 4pm
