Preston cricket legend Andrew Flintoff made a winning comeback to help Lancashire to victory over Worcestershire.
In a long awaited return to the game Freddie took a couple of wickets in what turned out to be a one-sided T20 Blast match.
Although he didn’t get chance to bat his contribution helped Lancashire to the top of the North group league table.
A shame there was no live TV coverage but Freddie received a warm welcome back from the crowd.
He didn’t comment after the game but took to Twitter later:
“@BumbleCricket: @flintoff11 Nice one! How did it go ?” Apart from getting donged for 2 6's by a couple of cheeky kids , loved it !!

Back in 2012, Freddie said in an interview that Preston is where he’d like to live and has fond memories of his early cricketing career in the city.
He said: “My dad played cricket locally on a Saturday afternoon and my mum used to take us to watch him. I started off in the pram and then played for the side – that’s how it all started.”
Flintoff also used to work on the record counter at the old Woolworths store on Fishergate.
