Preston’s Avenham Park will be transformed into a magical world for a promenade production of Peter Pan, taking audiences on a journey into the depths of Neverland. Setting off from the Pavilion, follow the tale of the Darling children as they encounter the mischievous Lost Boys, the terrifying crew of the Jolly Roger led by the dastardly Captain James Hook – they may even catch a glimpse of the ferocious crocodile. Staged by the city’s own Preston Youth Theatre, this production promises to be their best yet since starting their annual outdoor productions in 2008. You know the directions – ‘Second star to the right and straight on till morning’ – so come down to Avenham Park and join the ‘adventure in imagination’.
Showings begin at 1pm and 5:30pm on 19th July, and 1pm on 20th July.
Tickets cost £10 for Adults, £8.50 for Concessions and £7 for Children, and are available at this link here.
