Police have released a computer generated image of a man wanted following a sexual assault in Walton-le-Dale.
AdvertisementDetectives released the image after a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man in the Severn Drive/Duddle Drive area.
He approached the girl on Monday 14 July around 8.20am and tried to speak to her, he then sexually assaulted her.
The man is described as a white male, in his late 40s with short grey/white hair. He was wearing sunglasses with dark lenses, a silver stud in his left ear, a royal blue round-neck t-shirt and green or beige combat style knee length shorts.
Sergeant David Herbert of Preston Police, said: “If anybody recognises this person I would urge them to come forward and contact us as soon as possible. We are keen to trace the man responsible and anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting crime reference number CL1407108.”
