Jordan Grant, a Newman College and former Our Lady’s High School student, passed away on 4 February 2012, aged 17.
He was a keen footballer and avid Preston North End supporter who held an ambition to become a sports journalist. He had no previous cardiac history and outwardly appeared to be fit and healthy. His family would wish for as many young people as possible to benefit from the opportunity for screening and early detection of cardiac conditions.
Cardiac Risk in the Young is a charity that raises awareness of potentially life threatening cardiac abnormalities in young people aged 14 – 35 and promotes screening.
