Fulwood Barracks was the place to be on Saturday as Preston Military Show 2014 took place. Bigger and better than ever.
A huge day with many events taking place in the glorious summer sunshine.
The Royal Signals White Helmets Motorcycle display team put on superb show. North West Regular and Reserve units held a ‘capability display’, where in a mock battle and infantry display they demonstrated how they would take control of a bridge crossing. Great fun.
There were loads of stall and demonstrations plus fun things to do for kids. The Tug-O-War event was a big pull for the crowds.
The day concluded with a Massed Band finale and the ceremonial sunset ceremony with the lowering of the standards. Fantastic day had by all.
The event was covered by BBC North West Tonight and Radio Lancashire.
