Cocktails and garlands on display at the Lostock Hall Carnival

Just across the Preston border there’s been a summer carnival in Lostock Hall.

The annual tradition sees the town come to a standstill as hundreds turn out to take part and spectate.

Alison Bailey was there to snap pictures of the floats in action and the bands march past in the Saturday sunshine.

Not to forget the man in a gorilla costume patrolling the streets.
