Hundreds of members from Preston’s Muslim community turned the Flag Market into a makeshift kitchen on Saturday.

In what’s becoming an annual event the Preston with the Homeless event sees a feast laid on for those sleeping rough in the city.

Volunteers cook up a treat with curry, naan, rice, Asian desserts and much more given away on the night.

The feeding started around 5.30pm and the dishes were laid under gazebos for many to enjoy.

As well as food served on the night there were also bags loaded with more food and drinks to be taken away.
