You never need to be at a loss where to eat in Preston again.

A brand new app has been created by Preston’s Business Improvement District (BID) that helps you search for dining places in the city centre. The Love Food Love Preston app.

The new app features details of where to eat. It also has a facility for users to contact their favourite eatery. Produced by local company Fuudey, it provides users with the ability to search for their preferred cuisine options.

The free Love Food Love Preston app, available on apple and android, can be downloaded from 1 August. Those downloading the app have a chance to win £200 to spend in their favourite city centre restaurant simply by entering their email address within the app.

The app is part of the Love Food Love Preston campaign which runs throughout August and includes the hugely popular Lancashire Market on Friargate.

New for 2014 is ‘Dine with the Stars’ – where members of the public have the chance to be joined by either celebrity chefs Paul Rankin, Jean Christophe Novelli or television personality Sherrie Hewson on Saturday 16 August.

You are invited to eat out at restaurants across the city centre and via a random draw; you could have one of the special guests join you, and your party, for a course of dinner. How exciting is that!

Love Food Love Preston a now annual promotion, was launched in 2012 by TV favourite Gino D’Acampo, and will see the city centre’s restaurants, grills and eating houses profiled via a huge campaign across the North West.
