999 will be the latest punk band to play the New Continental on Friday (July 4).
The New Continental has become the go-to venue for punk over the last few years.
Acts such as GBH, Wire and Vic Goddard & The Subway Sect have all played there in recent times.
The band has a huge cult following worldwide and they have been cited as one of the most influential punk bands.
Formed in 1976 by Nick Cash and Guy Days, 999 offer a more pop-punk experience than many other bands from that period. Unlike many touring veteran bands, those two founding members are still a part of the current line-up.
Support for 999 will come from Addictive Personality and Preston’s own Crack Shot. Tickets are £10 and are available from the venue, Action Records, Preston Visitor Information or online from Skiddle and See Tickets.
