The best of design, fashion, art, architecture and media is being presented in the annual University of Central Lancashire degree shows.
AdvertisementPreston’s university throws open its doors for the public to come and see what final year students have produced.
It is free to browse work including intricate glass sculptures made from broken bottles, a sea corral made of ceramic and a product design student’s project which shows a way of addressing food shortages.
UCLan senior fashion lecturer and Degree Show organiser Paresh Parmar said this year’s show promises to be as exciting as the last: “The annual UCLan Degree Show has developed a reputation as a platform to showcase the very best of creative talent flowing from our University.
“We want to celebrate this impressive collection of work and share it with the local community. I would encourage as many people as possible to come along and enjoy the exhibition.”
Parking is free in the university car parks during the exhibitions, you need to download a permit from the university website.
They start from 10am each day until and including Saturday 21 June.
