Three Preston men have been bailed following a city centre stabbing.

Lancashire Police arrested and bailed the 18,19 and 20-year-old men on suspicion of wounding.

A 30-year-old man is undergoing surgery in Royal Preston Hospital after an incident on the corner of Glover’s Court and Fishergate.

The pavement outside Waterstones book store was left splattered with blood after the man was stabbed around 4am on Saturday 28 June.

Waterstones’ was forced to close for most of the Saturday morning as police investigated the scene.
