The 5k race could see as much as £90,000 raised by Preston women for Cancer Research.
The runners turned Moor Park a shade of pink as they took on the course, either walking or running, under overcast skies.
Penwortham breast cancer survivor Toni Harrison was the special guest, and she started the race before joining the 1,944 women taking part.
