Preston is blessed with some great canal walks and it was while out walking close to the new Ribble Link sculpture that this photograph was taken. The canal boats were waiting patiently to be assisted through the first of the lock gates on the Ribble Link which leads them down to the River Ribble and Preston Dock.
The photo was taken on a Fuji X-Pro1 with a 55-200mm lens.
