Students took their designs to London Graduate Fashion Week in May.
Their work was showcased during talent shows and exhibitions to more than 25,000 people during the four-day event at the Old Truman Brewery.
Anna Grundy, a third year fashion promotion student, won the fashion marketing award.
The 22-year-old presented a marketing campaign for the 25th anniversary of Elle Presentation.
She said: “I was absolutely shocked and couldn’t believe my name had been read out. It was the best feeling ever. The judges said my work was ‘innovative and polished’ and ‘could be rolled out to the UK market’.”
A second award was won by fashion design student Alice Houghton who won the George Children’s Wear Award.
Glenda Brindle, Dean of the School of Art, Design and Performance, said: “The UCLan fashion courses have a worldwide reputation for encouraging students to be both individual and innovative with the ability to blend creative freedom in response to market awareness.
“The work our students have exhibited at Graduate Fashion Week shows what fantastic creations can be produced by enthusiastic students, with help from excellent teaching staff and top class facilities. There’s no doubt our students will go on to be driving forces in the fashion world.”
