The firms headquarters takes a patriotic turn for the World Cup
A Preston business have been getting into the World Cup spirit – by turning their offices into a giant England flag.
Marketing agency every1 got the paint out for their Preston Docks base to turn it into the cross of St George.
Measuring six metres high and 30 metres long they reckon it’s probably the largest England flag in the city, if not the county.
Managing Director Simon Clayton said: “We’re looking forward to the match tomorrow and just want to show our support for the England team.
“The side of the building lends itself perfectly to make a huge flag. The wall is made from panels of translucent fibreglass, so passing traffic and visitors can enjoy it, and the every1 team can see it from inside the open-plan studio.”
Staff donned hard hats and scaled ladders on Friday morning to create the flag at the Chain Caul Way headquarters.
