The annual Ruffs dog show returned to Preston last Saturday.
Ruffs on Ashton Park had various fun competitions for dogs to take part in throughout what was a very hot and humid day.
Plenty of pet related stalls lined the park and dog agility demonstrations took place in the centre.
On the hottest day of the year they also had the smallest ice-cream stall ever. The queues were huge!
Also on hand were Julie Bell Tatler and John Alan Wareing from the RSPCA Preston & District Branch on Ribbleton Avenue. Their stall was doing brisk business. They would like you to know they will have a stall at the Leyland Festival next weekend on Saturday 21st June. Please go along and support all you can.
Preston City Council’s environmental health officers were also on hand to offer free micro chipping.
The Friends of Ashton Park organised the annual event.
Lovely picture from Vicky Allen whose dog Django won 3rd most handsome male!
£200 towards the running costs of the show was provided by Preston North West County Councillor David Borrow through a local member grant.
