Free guided cycling tours for women and children are on offer this Saturday in Preston.
Despite warnings of heavy rain for the whole day from the Met Office a 16-mile ride is on offer along the Guild Wheel and taking in some of Preston’s surrounding countryside.
The tours are part of the Preston City Games, and are free to take part in.
It is led by British Cycling Breeze Champions who aim to get more women cycling.
Two rides take place, a 9.45am and 2pm ride.
Both rides start from the UCLan Sports Arena on Tom Benson Way.
Adult bikes can be hired from the Sports Arena by calling 01772 761 000.
To book a place visit the Sky Ride website.
