McClure, together with Accrington Stanley manager James Beattie joined forces to open the new Store First Preston.

The US reality TV show, shown on the Dave channel, depicts Jesse’s on-screen battles to outbid rivals to secure contents found in abandoned storage units. Proving that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

McClure, who has just undertaken a UK tour and wrapped up the fourth season of his show, has been in the auction business since he was 11 years old.

Store First Managing Director John Turner said: “Who better to unveil our newest self-storage centre than a global celebrity and industry expert like Jesse? We can’t wait to show him how we do things here in the UK – it’s set to be a fantastic day with lots in-store, everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun.”

The new Self Storage unit can be found on Millennium City Park, Millennium Road, Preston, PR2 5BL
