The Continental Beer Festival is going to be twice as big this year – as a second bar is added.
Organisers have revealed more than 200 ales, ciders and perrys will be on offer.
The car park at the pub is being covered over with a large marquee, creating an additional beer hall.
It is the twelfth time the pub, on South Meadow Lane, has hosted a beer festival since 2009 when it opened.
Robyn Talbot from the Continental said they recognised the festival needed to expand due to its popularity.
He said: “Beer isn’t the only thing which is doubling up, with there also being an extra outside bar, a second token purchasing point, and an extra toilet block.
“As ever there’ll great food on offer, including the famous hog roast, and no Continental Beer Festival would be complete without a line-up of live music acts in the outdoor marquee on the Friday and Saturday.”
The festival starts from 5pm on Thursday 15 May and runs on the Friday and Saturday, from 12pm to 12midnight on each of those two days.
There will be live music on the Friday and Saturday nights.
