Preston superstar wrestler Wade ‘Bad News’ Barrett scores his fourth Intercontinental Championship.

The Extreme Rules final against Big E last night proved the Preston lad the best in the game although he was up against it.

In a recent interview with Ring Rust Radio Wade said: “I think any time there’s more focus on a particular title, the better it is for the titleholder.

“I think with the reduction in the number of titles and now with the combined World and WWE Championship titles, I think it definitely puts a lot more emphasis on the Intercontinental Championship. … So definitely, I’d like to get my hands on it and pick up that IC title once again.”

Wade is a huge Preston North End fan and has been credited with putting Preston on the map globally thanks to his support of the team.
