Harris Primary School took victory in gymnastics to seal a place at the SPAR Lancashire School Games.
More than 3,000 primary and secondary pupils take part in the Games which are to be held in Blackpool on July 1.
Dean Brandwood, Preston School Games Organiser, said: “Gymnastics has become extremely popular amongst Preston’s pupils since Team GB’s impressive four medal tally in Artistic Gymnastics at the London 2012 Olympics. The event rallied a turn-out which saw the tournament become the highest attended yet.
“The standard of competition was extremely high this year and all those who participated should be extremely proud of their achievements.
“Congratulations to Harris who have secured themselves a much coveted place at the Lancashire School Games gymnastics final. We all look forward to cheering you on in Blackpool.
“The team from Harris were deserving tournament champions, with a win in the gymnastics team event as well as sealing the top three places in the individual events.”
