Preston men charged in connection with Blackburn incident

Five men from Preston have been charged with conspiracy to commit violent disorder.


It follows dawn raids on Wednesday by Lancashire Police following an incident with a firearm in Blackburn in December.

The five men are:

Uwais Bagas, 24, of Watling Street Road

Faizal Ghani, 28, of Albert Terrace

Mohammed Mussa, 23, of Garstang Road

Sohail Patel, 32, of Blackpool Road

Syed Razvi, 34, of Ashworth Grove

The men all appeared at Blackburn Magistrates on Thursday morning.

Three men from Blackburn have been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.
