Foxton Centre charity night to raise funds for building repairs

The Foxton Centre is holding an event at Preston Minster to show what they do for the city.

Discover more about the projects, the service users and the people behind the scenes and let them spoil you with good food, good company and top quality entertainment.

It is holding the fundraising night after its centre in Avenham suffered a major fire in March.

There will be music from he Pinstripe Pigeon Band plus magic by Darren Robinson

The Foxton Centre works with rough sleepers, street sex workers, young people, people with alcohol abuse issues and other people in the community who need support.

Tim Keightly, CEO of The Foxton Centre said: “The Centre was hit by a fire which caused devastating damage to the premises. Clean-up and repair is underway and we’re hugely grateful for the donations and support we’ve received.

“We are hoping this event will help towards continuing our work with vulnerable groups.”

They are currently running 12 different projects within Avenham and the city centre.

The Foxton Centre has recently been nominated for “Most Inspiring Business of the Year” in the BIBAs 2014!

Tickets £25 – including 2 course dinner and drink. There will be an on-site bar.
