Greater Manchester Property Venture Fund says it needs more time before submitting a full planning application for the 17.25 hectares of land.

A previous planning application was approved in 2009 giving the firm permission to develop the area for industrial usage and new warehouses.

The firm has paid £575 to submit the extension application.

The city council’s planning committee will now decide whether to approve the extension or not.
