Fire on Sharoe Green Lane put out by fire crews

Firefighters were called out to a flat in Fulwood on Thursday afternoon.


The crew from Fulwood fire station arrived at 3.48pm to find a flat smoke logged.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said there was severe damage to a kettle and an electric hob.

Light smoke damage was caused to the first floor flat on Sharoe Green Lane.

Two breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and water extinguisher were used to tackle the fire.
