Manchester based truck parts distributor to open a new distribution centre just outisde Preston.
Tranzparts is taking up premises at Walton Summit on a three year let. The company has a turnover of £1.5 million and currently employs 16 people.
The company, founded in 1979, is based in Radcliffe but it has chosen Preston for its second distribution centre.
For over 30 years, Tranzparts has been dealing with the distributorĀ of quality truck and trailer parts. Components from bulbs and lenses, right through to brake drums and batteries.
Director of Tranzparts Daniel Walsh said: “We’ve carved out a good reputation in the automotive parts industry and this has afforded us a good platform on which to build the business.
“Our second location needed to be in touching distance of an excellent motorway network and the Roundhouse Properties’ unit at Walton Summit ticked all the boxes for us.”

Walton Summit is one of the North Westās best commercial property and distribution locations due to being near to Junction 29 of the M6, Junction 3 of the M65 and Junction 9 of the M61. It is home to high profile brand names and organisations including Bosal, BCA Car Auctions, The Environment Agency and Securicor.
