Police uncover £120,000 of cannabis plants in Preston drugs raid

Lancashire Police report they located and confiscated a large cannabis cultivation at an address on Great Townley Street (off New Hall Lane) in Preston last week.

They arrested a man at the address and he is currently on remand.

The rough initial valuation of the plants was approximately £120,000.

Police say this is another substantial amount of cannabis that has been removed from the streets. They continue to urge the community to keep intelligence coming in on cannabis growers.

They are a danger as most have dodgy electrics which can cause house fires.
