Mapped: Where City Deal development happens across Preston

The City Deal paperwork about how and when it will be delivered goes to the city council’s cabinet for sign off on Wednesday.

We’ve put together a map showing where key infrastructure developments worth hundreds of millions of pounds to the city’s economy could take place.

The shape of our city could be dramatically altered by the investment of £434m which will see the Western and North Western edges linked up by new major roads.

Thousands of new homes are expected to be built in a “Garden City” in the Cottam, Woodplumpton and Fulwood areas.
