Friday evening will kick-start the birthday bash where Korova plan to fill every nook and cranny of their venue with a variety of different arts.

The night will include a fusion of experimental film, poetry performance art and experimental music.

This will be accompanied by the launch of Korova’s Special Open art exhibition.

Sam Buist, Owner of Korova said: “We’re asking some of the artists who have entertained us the most over the last year to come and showcase their talent.”

The event will also give way to the venue’s regular event ‘KorovaKlectic’, which will showcase the very best of the bars creative community.

On the night of May 24 there will be 24 actors, six writers and six directors drawn into six separate theatre companies, which will each have 24 hours to write, rehearse and perform six new pieces of theatre.

The crème de la crème of the birthday is Korova inviting Preston to get involved with the celebrations, if you act, sing, write or direct Korova want you to be a part of their 24 hour play festival, or enter a piece for their open art exhibition.

Korova want Preston, their customers, to come along and enjoy the creative, fun atmosphere they have enjoyed for their first year in business and to welcome another year in business.
