The seventh annual World Autism Awareness Day was celebrated on the Flag Market in Preston on 2 April.
Every year, autism organizations around the world celebrate the day with unique fundraising and awareness-raising events.
In the shadow of the iconic Harris Museum many Organisations and Support Groups set up stalls for the day. Despite a chilly wind and a tiny amount of rain visitors listened to a local guitarist, were given advice and information, plus some very tasty cakes and sweets; the very brave even had a bounce on the trampoline all compared by a presenter from the Bee radio station.
