Preston was blessed with soaring temperatures as the sun shone down on the Easter Egg Rolling.

Avenham Park was thronged with thousands of visitors who took in the annual spectacle.

Families climbed to the top of the Victorian parks slopes and let their hard boiled eggs roll down the slopes – many decorated with eye-catching designs.

We’ve had live updates throughout Easter Monday from the park and also plenty of pictures from our team and also from readers.
