Giant robot to walk the stalls at Preston Market

In amongst the stalls at Preston Market on Wednesday will be a giant robot.

B-4, measuring 8 foot, is going to walking the market to keep children entertained.

The robot is controlled by children’s entertainer Alan Horne.

Market manager Dave Bullock said: “Preston Market continues to try and make shoppers’ experiences memorable and I think the sight of an 8 foot robot will do just that.

“Alan Horne is a great entertainer, who will be at the market most days over the Easter holiday providing lots of fun entertainment to market visitors.”


The robot will be on patrol from 11am to 4pm.

It is just one of many entertaining activities for children at the markets over the Easter period.
