The Harris Museum in Preston is hosting a special Islamic design event on 28 April.

Geometric brings to you the beauty of Islamic geometric design, and displays the and the breath-taking skill of the craftsmen who created them.

Eric Broug will show some of the masterpieces of this design tradition, both in art and architecture.

From the Alhambra to Fatehpur Sikri, and Isfahan to Baghdad, learn of the immense skill of the craftsmen in designing these geometric compositions.

Eric Broug has been studying Islamic geometric design for 25 years and has written two books on the subject.

He runs Broug Atellers Ltd, a design and educational company that specialises in Islamic geometric design.
