Firefighters put out fire near Moor Lane flats

The second fire in a week at homes off Moor Lane has been put out by fire fighters.


A crew from Preston Fire Station were called to a fire at Edale Court in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A fire in a store cupboard had spread to the building.

Severe damage was caused to the outside store cupboard, heat damage to a door, window frame and another door on the property. Light smoke damage was caused to the building.

It follows a fire at a flat on St Thomas Street on Wednesday.
